 Announcing the IWPL - The Infinite Winter Paintball League What can you expect? - FULL Xball format (20 minute halves, 2 minute time-out clock in-between points) - 15bps ramping - Full Xball fields (at close to regulation size!) - 15 person rosters, with unlimited roster changes - 5 games in the series - The same great reffing as the IPPL 2 divisions: Division A: "Open" Division (CXBL/MXL level players) Division B: "Rookie" Division (RXL/CX4 level players) 4 events: January 17 February 14 March 14 April 11 Costs: $250 deposit required to secure your spot in the league $55/case of Draxxus paint at the events - shoot the BEST paint available! ***This is THE BEST practice your team can get in the off-season. The prizes will be trophies for first place and 25 cases of paint, or league entry for next year. Teams playing this year will have first rights to their spot for next year. Total entry cost is $1000 per team (that's about $15 per player per game).
For anyone that picked up a franchise this year playing this will give you a huge leg up on the season. With the unlimited roster changes you can see players under game conditions before the season starts, and refine your lineup. Just adjusting to the pace of the game is crucial for new teams. We plan to use the World Cup layout for the Jan date, and the CXBL 2010 first event layout for the April date. Like Rich said, the spots are about half spoken for now. |

This is Great, good job on Infinites/Nemesis' part is doing this for the players. Going to try and get a team in this, or if any team is looking for a player pm me.. Sounds like a great series to play in .

CXBL players complain there is no tournament that they can play during the winter months... This idea was thought up especially for you guys. Lets get these teams locked in. |

Yup your right CXBL teams only normally play where they can bring their own paint. Their costs for team fees and players cards as well are usually covered by their sponsor and recovered in other ways. However, teams or individuals may choose to play it's definitely a choice. The league is pretty economical and its a chance to play full xball games over the winter and it's local.
Here's a cost comparison for Rookie teams that are considering giving Xball a try. Tourney entry generally cost $200, and you are guaranteed 8 games or points. If you play 5 tourneys your entry is $1000. If you consider the entry for 2 teams it's $2000. The average xball game runs about 16 points; some more, some less, some games can run into the low 20s for points. Entry into this league as a team costs $1000, but you'll play double the paintball. However, you better have a pit crew and be organized. If you combine your entry with another team (2 lines) you'll play the same amount of paintball and save 50% on entry. As well you'll have scheduled gametimes and be on the field about every 3 minutes. |
